Tibetan Spaniel

The Tibetan Spaniel is a lively, companionable little breed with an ancient history. Artwork depicts this spirited breed in Tibetan Monasteries as far back as 1100 BC. They were kept as both companions and watchdogs, often working closely alongside their larger relative, the Tibetan Mastiff. Known for their trademark lion's mane (and personality) the Tibetan Spaniel makes an excellent family pet and companion dog for active households that can cater to their sensitive, affectionate personalities.
