Tibetan Mastiff

Aptly named for its place of origin, the Tibetan Mastiff is a rare breed with a rather imposing stature and a coat strongly resembling a lion's mane. Used as watchdogs and livestock guardians for thousands of years, this ancient breed is known for being tenacious, protective, and having the heart of a lion as well as its mane. They are known to display unwavering loyalty to their people and are highly intelligent and watchful.
