Rottweiler

Rottweilers were originally bred to drive cattle to the market and pull carts and heavy loads for butchers. Never one to back down in the face of danger, they were also one of the first breeds used as police dogs. Rottweilers make excellent family guardians, companions, and guard dogs. While they may be more bark than bite, their intimidating stature and loud, resonating bark are more than enough to scare off any would-be intruders.
