Rhodesian Ridgeback

A ferocious hunter in the field, the Rhodesian Ridgeback is a calm and gentle dog in the home. They are loyal, straightforward, and very protective of their families. Hailing from Africa, the Rhodesian Ridgeback was bred to corner and hold large game prey like lions, bears, and boars. They are still used for hunting today, but they are also found competing in dog sports such as agility, obedience, and tracking.
