American Staffordshire Terrier

While they may look like an intimidating breed, the American Staffordshire Terrier, or "American Staffy", is as loving and loyal as they come. These medium to large-sized dogs are known for their gentle dispositions. They crave human companionship and are always eager to please. Although they were commonly used for the unpleasant (and now outlawed) sport of bullbaiting in the past, their companionable personalities and unwavering loyalty to their people quickly made them a popular choice as family and companion dogs.
