Havanese

Originating in Cuba during the 1800s, the Havanese was bred as a true companion dog. And while they do make perfect lapdogs, they're also surprisingly energetic and easily trainable. They have infectious personalities and tend to get along with just about everyone - strangers, dogs, children, and even cats.
