Heideterrier
The Heideterrier originated in Germany during the early 1970s and is believed to contain a mix of the Airedale Terrier, German Hunt Terrier, Bull Terrier, and Irish Terrier. Smaller and more agile than the Fox Terrier and German Hunt Terrier yet still every bit as bold and brave, the Heideterrier was able to successfully track and take down injured bore and deer as well as other prey, both large and small. While they were originally bred to hunt bore, they soon demonstrated other talents and became a popular dog of choice for tracking and retrieving.
