Harrier
Bred as true working dogs and hunters, the Harrier is a medium-sized hound dog originally bred in the United Kingdom. While the breed's ancestry is somewhat unclear, they are believed to contain a mix of basset hounds, bloodhounds, Fox Hounds, and other hound breeds. They very closely resemble the Beagle and English Foxhound because they are similar in size and share the short, double coats of black, white, and tan found in both breeds. While they may resemble other breeds, the Harrier is incredibly rare in North America and is one of the rarest breeds in the American Kennel Club.
