Airedale Terrier
Originally bred in the Aire Valley of Yorkshire to hunt small game such as otters and rodents, the Airedale Terrier is as hardworking and loyal as they come. They were relied upon during World War 1 to help eradicate rodents from the trenches and act as watchdogs. True to its terrier roots, this breed is spirited and energetic with a big heart. They are natural athletes and tend to excel in obedience, agility, and hunting trials.
