American Foxhound

As one of the oldest breeds in America, the noble American Foxhound has a reputation as being both an outstanding hunter and a rather good-looking dog. Originally bred throughout Virginia and Maryland, the American Foxhound is the descendant of the English Foxhound and various European hunting dogs. They are often described as "docile yet reserved". They are highly intelligent, driven, and loyal dogs who thrive on companionship and dislike solitude.
