Weimaraner
Originating from Germany, the Weimaraner is an undeniably attractive breed sporting a smooth steel-grey coat over a lean, well-muscled frame. Also known as the Weir of the "Grey Ghost", the Weimaraner is a large, athletic dog with the soulful eyes and floppy ears of a hound dog. Initially bred as an avid sporting and hunting dog, the Weimaraner was capable of taking down large prey such as wolves and bears. While they still retain their hunting and tracking skills, today, they make excellent family and companion dogs.
