Staffordshire Bull Terrier

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier, affectionately known as the Staffy of Staffordshire, is a well-muscled, medium-sized breed hailing from England. Despite their unpleasant past spent as fighting and bullbaiting dogs, the Staffy is known for its "nanny dog" demeanour, gentle nature, and truly sweet heart. Always happy, the Staffordshire sports a friendly disposition and trademark smile on its large, brick-like head. They are highly companionable and affectionate and make wonderful family pets and companion dogs.
