Shih Tzu

Also known as the "Little Lion Dog", the Shih Tzu is a lively, spirited breed aptly named for its mini-mane and loyal personality. While their exact origins are a bit unclear, we do know the Shih Tzu is an incredibly old breed dating back roughly 1,100 years and their ancestry can be traced to ancient breeds from in and around Tibet. The very essence of a lapdog, Shih Tzu make wonderful family pets and companion dogs.
