N.S. Duck Tolling Retriever

Originally bred to lure and retrieve waterfowl, the Nova Scotia Duck Toller is a breed hailing from the Little River district of Nova Scotia. Like other Retrievers, they have a strong working drive, are intelligent, and have a happy disposition. They have wonderful personalities but can be strong-willed and are not as eager to please as other members of the Retriever family. If they are not properly trained, they can easily take control of the household. They are known to be smarter than the average person.
