Miniature Pinscher

Originally bred in Germany to hunt rats in houses and stables, the Miniature Pinscher, or Min Pin, is a courageous and energetic dog. Many believe the Min Pin is just a mini-Doberman Pinscher, but the Miniature Pinscher is actually older than the Doberman and a very different, distinct breed. Demanding and headstrong, the Miniature Pinscher is spirited and fearless. They are a big dog in a small dog's body and may be overly courageous.They are high-energy and can be quite vocal at times.
