Catahoula Leopard Dog

Catahoula Leopard Dogs, also known as Catahoula Curs, are intelligent, loyal, independent, protective, and highly entertaining. Aptly named for their leopard-like markings, they are the descendants of hunting dogs brought to North America by the Spanish and domesticated dogs of Native American Tribes. An impressive hunter, wonderful companion, and loyal family dog, their bloodlines are believed to contain a mix of mastiff, greyhound, bloodhound, and the French Beauceron.
