Entlebucher Sennenhund

The Entlebucher Sennenhund, also known as the Entlebucher Mountain Dog or simply the Entle, is a medium-sized herding dog hailing from the Swiss Alps. Originally used to drive cattle, their stout frames and never-ending endurance allowed them to safely run behind and herd livestock for long hours. Aptly named for their herding abilities, Sennenhund translates to "the herdsman's dog". The smallest of the four herding breeds native to the Swiss Alps, including the Bernese Mountain Dog, Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, and Appenzeller, the Entlebucher Sennenhund is an incredibly hard-working and spirited companion that bonds fiercely with its family.
