Skye Terrier

The Skye Terrier is a rather old breed that originated on the Isle of Skye in Scotland sometime during the 16th century. Originally bred to help farmers protect livestock and eliminate pests such as badgers and foxes, the Skye Terrier is surprisingly elegant considering the rough and rugged region from which they hail. With their perfectly styled bangs and long, smooth coats, the Skye Terrier is sure to turn heads wherever it goes. It's no wonder they were so highly regarded by royalty and nobility! They are a very confident breed with a rather regal and dignified nature that they have maintained to this day.
