Japanese Spitz
Originally bred as companion dogs in Japan during the 1930s, the Japanese Spitz has earned a reputation as being a wonderful family dog and is known to be particularly friendly with children. While they are lighthearted and playful at their core, these little pups have the heart of a lion and seldom back down in the face of danger. In typical spitz fashion, the Japanese Spitz sports a wedge-shaped head, pointed ears, and a fluffy tail that curls up and over its back. They are often mistaken for other breeds such as the American Eskimo, white Pomeranians, and Samoyeds due to their similar appearance.
