Medications
that will affect your test

 
 

There are certain medications that will suppress the factors we are trying to measure. Please make sure you are aware of them before you take your sample.

Apoquel
Please make sure your dog has not taken a dose a minimum of 24 hours before testing, up to 48 hours, if possible.

Cytopoint
Please wait to take your sample until the day before your pet's next injection.

Oral Steroid Medications
Stop 24 hours up to 48 hours before taking your sample, if possible.

Antihistamines
Stop 24 hours up to 48 hours before taking your sample, if possible.

 
 

Please consult with your Veterinarian before making any changes to your pet’s medications or treatment plan.

 

The following will not affect your test and may be administered as usual:

Antibiotics

Topical creams and medications

Shampoos and soaps

Supplements and vitamins

Non-steroidal medication

Pain medication

Vaccines

Flea, tick and heartworm treatments

CBD products
