Australian Shepherd

Australian Shepherds were originally bred to herd livestock over vast distances. They are working dogs at heart and shine in a home where their intelligence and energy are put to use. An excellent companion, the Australian Shepherd, or "Aussie", is easygoing and loves to play. They are true puppies at heart and absolutely love to be in the company of their people. Aussies are intelligent, eager to please, and seem to sense what is expected of them.
