Great Pyrenees

Originating on the French side of the Pyrenees Mountains, the Great Pyrenees is a devoted, protective dog through and through. Originally used as livestock guardians, these protective pups seldom back down from a challenge yet are quite gentle and docile with their families. They are known to do well with children and other pets if well-socialized from an early age.
