Coton de Tulear

Named for the cotton-like appearance of their fluffy white coats, The Coton de Tulear is an old breed dating back to 16th Century Madagascar. A sweet, loveable, and incredibly affectionate breed, the Coton is always up for an adventure, likely due to their adventurous sailing past. They have become much more popular as family pets and companions in North American households over recent years. They are a gentle and sociable breed that does well with children and other animals and are very eager to please.
