Standard Poodle

The Standard Poodle is a medium to large-sized breed graced with natural athleticism, agility, and off-the-charts intelligence. The breed originated in Germany during the 17th Century and can be found in three sizes - toy, miniature, and standard. This graceful, noble dog can trace its ancestry back to various coarse-coated water-retrieving breeds including the Portuguese, German, Hungarian, and Spanish water dogs. Their soft, curly coats are hypoallergenic, making them a wonderful choice for those who suffer from allergies. Their coats can be found in a wide range of colours including apricot, black, blue, brown, cafe au lait, cream, gray, red, silver, silver beige, and white, and may be solid, tri-coloured, or patterned.
