Spanish Galgo

The Spanish Galgo is a medium-sized sighthound with an ancient lineage dating back thousands of years. They are the very picture of where brain meets brawn - Smart as a whip, and quick as one too, they excel at both physical and mental sports. Depictions of these swift, agile dogs and avid hunters have been found in Spain since the 10th century, although their ancestry likely goes back to Asian, African, and European sighthounds. Often referred to as the "Spanish Greyhound" due to their similarities in appearance and temperament, these speedy dogs are known as renowned hare coursers and were used by hunters and wagered on in organized races and hunts.
