Norwegian Lundehund
The Norwegian Lundehund is a rare breed from Norway with an interesting history and some even more interesting attributes. They are believed to be an ancient breed, possibly as old as 5,000 years, and a close relative of the now-extinct Varanger Dog. The Varanger Dog and Norwegian Lundehund have nearly identical jaw structures with both having two fewer teeth than any other known breed. These active pups are a happy-go-lucky breed that enjoys the company of people. They tend to get along quite well with children and other dogs so long as they receive early training & socialization. After a long day of work or play, they love nothing more than to snuggle up and relax with their family.
