Norfolk Terrier
Originating in 19th Century England, the Norfolk Terrier is a small breed with a reputation as an expert hunter and loyal companion. Thought to be the descendants of short-legged Irish Terriers, the Romani Terrier, and small terrier breeds local to England, this feisty dog is highly active, intelligent, and eager to please its people. Their natural athleticism and eagerness to please make them tough competition in the canine sports arena, while their affectionate nature and unwavering loyalty make them wonderful family pets and companions. Their short, wiry coats shed so minimally that they are considered a hypoallergenic breed and are an excellent choice for those with allergies.
