Miniature Fox Terrier

The Miniature Fox Terrier, also referred to as the Mini Foxie or Toy Fox Terrier, is a descendant of the Smooth Fox Terrier, Manchester Terrier, Miniature Pinscher, and Italian Greyhound. Fans of the larger variety of English Foxhounds sought to develop a breed that retained the hunting skills and intelligence of its larger counterparts mixed with the speed of greyhounds and ferocity of its terrier relatives, all in a more compact size. The resulting breed was a fierce, determined ratter that could squeeze into the smallest of spaces and displayed unyielding loyalty and dedication to its owners. Their glossy coats can be found in an array of colours including white, black, brown, and tan. Their large, pointed ears almost seem to be more fitting for a dog twice their size, giving them somewhat of a goofy appearance.
