Manchester Terrier
The Manchester Terrier is a rather old breed with a bold history. Originating in England sometime during the 16th Century, they were initially put to use as ratters and sporting dogs. It's believed that the Manchester Terrier is the descendant of the now-extinct Black & Tan Terrier and the Whippet. Over time, selective breeding led to two distinct versions of the Manchester, the Standard and the Toy variety. While both varieties may be small in stature, their personalities are anything but little!
