Terms and Conditions

DNA My Dog, a division of Cdn Dog Group Ltd. (“DNA My Dog”), maintains the confidentiality of its customers and does not disclose personal information or test results without prior client consent, except as required by law. Personal information collected will not be shared with third parties or used for purposes other than providing contracted services to the client.

Please review these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services. By using our services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set forth below.

1. Provision of Services

1.1 The analysis and reports provided by DNA My Dog are prepared solely for the use of the client ordering the test. DNA My Dog makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding the suitability or usefulness of the analysis for any purpose other than informational, educational, and research purposes.

1.2 DNA My Dog reserves the right to perform testing and analysis using such methods, technologies, laboratories, and processes as DNA My Dog deems appropriate.

1.3 Our services are intended for informational, educational, and research purposes only. Any information obtained through our services is not intended to diagnose, prevent, treat, or cure any disease, condition, or state of health. Clients should consult a licensed veterinarian regarding any medical or health-related concerns.

1.4 Genetic testing and biological analysis involve interpretation of complex scientific data. Results may evolve over time as scientific research, databases, methodologies, and technologies advance.

2. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

2.1 DNA My Dog does not warrant that:
(A) the services or results will meet the expectations of the client; or
(B) the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from defects.

2.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, DNA My Dog, its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and associates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of its services or test results.

2.3 In all cases, the total liability of DNA My Dog relating to any individual test shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for that specific test, or CAD/USD $100.00, whichever is less.

3. Client Warranties and Indemnities

3.1 The client represents and warrants that they are legally entitled to obtain and submit the biological sample provided to DNA My Dog for analysis.

3.2 The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless DNA My Dog from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising in connection with the submission, testing, analysis, or use of test results.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

4.1 Approved refunds may be subject to a 15% restocking and processing fee.

4.2 If you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us at hello@dnamydog.com. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and granted at the sole discretion of DNA My Dog.

5. Governing Law

5.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

5.2 If you are a resident of California, you may have certain rights under California consumer protection and privacy laws. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit any non-waivable rights available under applicable California law.
