1. Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the contiguous U.S., Washington, D.C., and Canada, 18 years or older. Employees of Universal Pictures Marketing, a division of Universal Film Exchanges LLC (“Universal”) and Canadian Dog Group Ltd, and their families, are not eligible.
2. Entry Period: The Sweepstakes runs from December 1, 2024, to January 17, 2025.
3. How to Enter:
o Submit your full name, valid email address, home address, and a description of what makes your dog a hero via the entry form.
o Limit of one Original Entry per person/email.
4. Additional Entries:
o Earn one Additional Entry by following the official DNA My Dog and Dog Man Movie Instagram pages and liking the DNA My Dog pinned post.
o Create and upload a video or picture of your dog, tagging @dnamydog and @dreamworksdogman, and using hashtags #dnamydog #DogManMovie #sweepstakes for 50 Additional Entries. Only one video entry per person is allowed.
5. Winners: Winners will be selected via a random drawing on or about January 17, 2025, and will be notified via email.
6. Agreement: By entering, you agree to these rules and the Sponsor’s decisions.
7. Universal is not a sponsor or administrator of this Sweepstakes. Entrants are providing information to Sponsor and not Universal.

The following are the official rules (“Rules”) for the What Makes Your Dog a Hero Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). In order to enter the Sweepstakes, you must agree to these Rules. You agree that submission of an entry form and/or participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes your agreement to these Rules.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE PROVINCIAL AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
1. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the contiguous U.S., Washington, D.C. (“Territory”), and Canada, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Universal Pictures Marketing, a division of Universal Film Exchanges LLC (“Universal”) and its parent, related, subsidiary and affiliated companies and employees of Canadian Dog Group Ltd and members of their immediate families are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. For purposes of the Sweepstakes, “immediate family” is defined as spouses, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of whether they reside in the same household.
2. Sponsor: This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Canadian Dog Group Ltd (dba DNA My Dog) (“DNA My Dog” or “Sponsor”), a company headquartered at 1543 Kingston Road, Toronto, ON, M1N 1R9, Canada.
3. Entry: The Sweepstakes runs from 12:00:00 AM, Sunday, December 15, 2024 to 11:59:59 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2025 (“Sweepstakes Period”). For purposes of these Rules, all times are Eastern Standard Time. To enter the Sweepstakes, during the Sweepstakes Period, Entrants must: 1) go to www.dnamydog.com/dogman-sweeps (“The Landing Page”). 2) Submit your full name, valid email address, home address, and a description of what makes your dog a hero via the entry form (“Original Entry” or “Original Entries”) located on The Landing Page. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning. Entrants may earn “Additional Entries” by completing the following optional actions: 1) Visiting and “following” the official DNA My Dog and Dog Man Movie Instagram pages, “liking” the DNA My Dog Instagram pinned post linked on The Landing Page for a value of one Additional Entry (limited to one (1) Additional Entry per person), 2) Creating and uploading a video or picture of your dog and tagging @dnamydog and @dreamworksdogman, and hash tagging exactly #dnamydog #DogManMovie #sweepstakes worth a value of 50 Additional Entries. Uploaded pictures and videos must be publicly accessible and uploaded to Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube . Limited to one (1) video entry per person regardless of how many platforms are used. Additional Entries can only be earned if participants have already entered the Sweepstakes via The Landing Page. “Original Entry” and “Additional Entries” are collectively referred to as “Entry” or “Entries”. Winners (defined below) will be randomly selected from the pool of Entries received from all entry methods. Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
4. Limitations: All Entries must be received by the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Original Entry is limited to one (1) Entry per person/email address (regardless of whether one person has more than one email address or more than one person uses the same email address). Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more Original Entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations or logins, or any other methods will void all entrant’s Entries and may disqualify the entrant. In event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email address is registered. Entries by any method other than set forth above in Section 3 are void. Any use of automated or programmed methods of effecting Entry is prohibited. Neither DNA My Dog nor Universal, or their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents or representatives (individually and collectively, “Releasees”) are responsible for Entries from persons residing, or physically located, outside of Canada and the United States; Entries that are altered, delayed, deleted, destroyed, forged, fraudulent, improperly accessed, inaccurate, incomplete, interrupted, irregular in any way, late, lost, misrouted, multiple, non-delivered, stolen, tampered with, unauthorized, unintelligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Rules; lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider, website or other connections; miscommunications; failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines or technical failure; failed phone, computer hardware or software failures, technical errors or difficulties; telephone transmissions; technical failures; unauthorized human intervention; traffic congestion; garbled or jumbled transmissions; undeliverable emails resulting from any form of active or passive email filtering; insufficient space in entrant’s email account to receive email; or other errors of any kind, whether due to electronic, human, mechanical, printing, production or technical errors or other causes, even if caused by the negligence of any of the Releasees. Each of such potential Entries will be disqualified.
5. Entry Errors: Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected Entries, which will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible if online service or equipment is interrupted including without limitation: (1) interruptions to any network, server, Internet, Web site, telephone, satellite, computer or other connections, (2) failures of any telephone, satellite, hardware, software or other equipment, (3) garbled, misdirected or jumbled transmissions, or traffic congestion, (4) other errors of any kind, whether human, technical, mechanical or electronic, (5) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information or the failure to capture any such information, or (6) printing or typographical errors.
6. Prizes: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE (“Grand Prize”): One (1) grand prize winner (“Grand Prize Winner”) will receive a private screening of the Dog Man movie on or after the January 31, 2025 for up to 200 guests, subject to the selected movie theater’s (“Theater”) room capacity (pursuant to all applicable capacity restrictions, government regulations, orders, guidelines and recommendations, at any level of government), located in Winner’s hometown or neighboring city (the “Screening”), one (1) DNA My Dog testing kit of the winner’s choice, and one (1) Dog Man licensed t-shirt. The total value of the grand prize will not exceed $5,124.99 . All expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included and are solely the Winner’s responsibility, including but not limited to: ground transportation between the Grand Prize Winner’s residence and the location of the private Screening, alcoholic beverages, tax, food, gratuities and tips, insurance, merchandise, parking, and hotel reservations. Prize elements may not be separated. Prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible Entries are received. Note: you must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of date of entry to enter the Sweepstakes. The Screening portion of the Grand Prize must be redeemed on dates specified by Sponsor so as to attend the selected movie on the date designated by Universal at its sole discretion, if Grand Prize Winner and guests are not available to attend the Screening on such dates for any reason, Grand Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate winner will be selected (time permitting). Grand Prize Winner and guests must follow all instructions of Sponsor, Universal, and Theater in connection to attending the Screening. Universal reserves the right to select and approve the Theater based on Winner’s location and Theater availability in Universal’s sole discretion. If Winner chooses to partake in the Sweepstakes portion of the Grand Prize with fewer than two hundred (200), or no, guest, the remaining elements of Grand Prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsor's Grand Prize obligation to Winner and no additional compensation will be awarded. Each guest, if any, may be required to execute and return releases of liability and, where legal, publicity releases, which must be returned with any documents the Winner may be asked to sign, or guest portion of the Grand Prize will be forfeited. If any guest is a minor, Winner or one of the other guests must be such minor’s parent or legal guardian and must execute and return the guest documents on such minor’s behalf.
7. Procedures: All Entries must be received by the end of the Sweepstakes Period. On or about January 15, 2025, in a random drawing conducted by the Sponsor, the potential Winners will be selected from among all eligible Entries received. The decision of the Sponsor shall be final and binding. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Entries received.
8. Winners: On or about January 15, 2025, the potential Winners will be notified via email to obtain a mailing address as well as any additional required information or responses. Winners will be notified via email within seven (7) business days after the Sweepstakes Period ends. Entrants are responsible for checking their email and ensuring that their information is up-to-date and accurate. At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of an alternate Winner may result from any of the following: [1] potential Winner’s failure to respond to email or phone notification within twenty four hours after transmission; [2] the return of an email notification as undeliverable after three (3) attempts; [3] the return of any other notification as undeliverable; [4] potential Winner’s failure to provide Sponsor with satisfactory proof of age, identity and residency; [5] potential Winner’s failure to provide Sponsor with satisfactory proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning Entry; [6] potential Winner’s failure to provide required additional information upon Sponsor’s request; [7] potential Winner’s failure to validly claim a prize within 48 hours of the sent time of the notification email and [8] any other noncompliance with the Rules. In the event of any prize forfeiture, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award or not award the forfeited Prize to an alternate Winner.
9. Acceptance of Official Rules: As a condition of entry, Entrants fully and unconditionally agree to these Rules, to the terms and conditions of Prize drawings and to Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Rules shall not constitute the waiver of such provision.
10. Liability: You agree that DNA My Dog, Universal, and each of their respective parents, related, subsidiaries and affiliates and all its advertising and Sweepstakes agencies as well as Instagram and Facebook (“Meta Platforms, Inc.”), TikTok Inc.(“TikTok”), and their prize partners will have no liability whatsoever in connection with this Sweepstakes and, you shall hold them harmless for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind that you or others may incur as a consequence of your participation in the Sweepstakes or your acceptance, use or misuse of a prize. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrant explicitly releases, discharges and holds harmless DNA My Dog, Universal, and each of its successors and assigns and all its respective shareholders, directors, officers and employees, as well as Meta Platforms, Inc., TikTok Inc. (“TikTok”), and their prize partners, one and all, from any and all liability, actions, causes of action, damages, actual, incidental or consequential, claims and demands whatsoever in law or equity, including attorneys’ fees and/or experts fees and costs, which he/she now has or may acquire, by reason of any personal injury, death, loss of or damage to property, or any reason, occurring during or arising out of his/her participation in the Sweepstakes and the acceptance and use or misuse of a prize. The Releasees are not responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of the Prize.
11. Universal is not a sponsor or administrator of this Sweepstakes. Entrants will be providing information to Sponsor and not to Universal.
12. This Contest shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Except where prohibited, by participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and each of its respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees and assigns, and sponsors, advertisers, partners and agencies from, and against, any claim or cause of action arising out of his/her participation in the Contest, or receipt or use of any prize. Entrants agree that all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ fees and court costs. For Residents of Quebec Only: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
13. Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost, stolen, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, falsified or destroyed entries, and all such entries are void. Sponsor will not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions or other liability or injury or damage to person(s) or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by an entrant’s participation in the Contest. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage, interfere with or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and/or civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these full Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Under no circumstances will more prizes than those set forth in these full Official Rules be awarded. If a printing, technical or any other error occurs that results in more potential winners than available prizes, Sponsor may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible potential prize winners to award the indicated number of prizes in dispute. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. If, for any reason, the Contest is not able to be conducted as planned; or if the Contest is corrupted or does not allow the proper execution of entry collection, prize drawing and/or processing of entries in accordance with these full Official Rules for any reason; or if tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures or any other causes, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, odds of winning, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or subject, in Quebec, to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest and conduct a random drawing from all non-suspect eligible entries received prior to termination to select a potential winner.
14. Agreement to Official Rules and Privacy: By entering this Contest, you acknowledge having read these Official Rules and agree to be bound by them and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding on all entrants. Entrant survey data becomes the property of Sponsor when submitted and will be used in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at Privacy Policy | DNA My Dog
15. Winners’ List: The name of the winner will be posted on the DNA My Dog’s website and Social Media pages once the winner has been finally determined.
